The information we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number and anything you include in your message.
When you call or email us we keep the contact details and correspondence you send us.
When you become a customer we hold the information we need to run your account, such as contact names, business and delivery addresses, order and delivery history, and invoicing and payment details.
When you browse the website our hosting server automatically records technical information in its log files, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used only to keep the website secure and working properly.
How and why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and set up your account – because you have asked us to and it is necessary to take steps before entering into a contract with you.
- To supply and deliver gas, invoice you and manage your account – because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep financial and tax records – because we have a legal obligation to do so.
- To keep our website and systems secure – because it is in our legitimate interests to protect our business and our customers.
- To contact existing business customers about our products and services – where this is in our legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information where it is needed for the purposes above, with:
- our website hosting provider, which stores the website and contact form submissions on servers in Germany;
- our email provider, which delivers and stores our email;
- trusted delivery partners, where they deliver an order on our behalf;
- our accountants, professional advisers and HMRC, where required.
These organisations may only use your information on our instructions and must keep it secure.
International transfers
Website data is hosted in the European Economic Area, which the UK recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where any of our service providers process data outside the UK or EEA, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an account: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Customer account, order and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the financial year in which our relationship ends, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Server log files: a short period, normally no longer than a few weeks.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or any similar tracking technology, and it does not load analytics or advertising tools. If we introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;

- ask us to transfer information you have given us to another organisation.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month and there is normally no charge.
